some people take their jobs wayyyy to seriously there. there are different tasks you may be put doing there. each taks has different teams, each of which has a “team lead” who is the person everyone on the team reports to. some of the team leads have such a sense of unearned cockiness it’s funny. i try so hard not to judge people, but some of the team leads just seem think they are the shit just because they have some people under them. i want to go up to a few of them and just ask if this is really all they aspire to do with their lives and ask why they think having this job that is more than likely headed no where makes them so big and bad. it just rubs me the wrong way when people walk around with a sense of unearned privilege, or privilege of any kind for that matter.
we are going to have doves released as we exit the car and enter the reception. we will both be wearing aviators and there will be bumping ass rap music coming from the car.
to give you an idea of the caliber of individuals i am working with:
there was a girl in my orientation group who had a juggalo hatchet man thing tattooed on the back of her neck and another who had on a red, white, and blue shirt which read, “50% sassy, 50% sweet, 100% american”
the hatchet man girl was nice enough though and the job is going to be a great workout so im not complaining. plus… money.
